Privacy Policy
This information explains how we process data submitted through the booking form and how we use optional consent for marketing communication.

What data we process
First and last name, email, phone number, selected service, preferred booking date and time, and an optional appointment note. The form is not intended for the systematic collection of health data.
Booking and service communication
Data needed for the booking is used to handle the request, confirm or change the appointment, communicate about booking-related problems, keep a record of the visit, and send appointment reminders by email or SMS. This processing is separate from marketing, and a booking can be made without marketing consent.
Internal client records
Data from confirmed bookings is also displayed in Timea Skincare's private administration area so the salon can see contact details, booking history, used services and the current communication preference. The administration area is not publicly accessible.
Marketing, news and feedback
If you voluntarily tick the marketing box, we may send you skincare tips, salon news, information about available appointments, occasional offers and, after a visit, a short request for feedback or a review by email. This consent is not required to make a booking and can be withdrawn at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Record of your consent choice
For an online booking we may store whether the marketing box was selected, the date and time of that choice and the version of the text shown. This information is used to demonstrate and respect the client's communication preference.
External services used
When handling a booking, we may use Google Calendar to keep appointment records, an email service for confirmations and permitted communication, an SMS service for appointment notifications, Vercel to operate the web application, and Google Maps to display the salon's location. Providers process data only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant service under their contractual and security terms.
Cookies
Necessary cookies enable the basic functionality of the website and store your cookie choice. They do not require your consent and do not track your behavior. With your separate consent, we may also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing cookies (ad performance measurement and remarketing via Google Ads). Optional analytics and marketing cookies are not loaded before consent is given. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. We do not send personal data from the booking form such as name, email, phone number or note text to Google Analytics or Google Ads. The Google Maps map on the Contact page loads only after the user clicks.
Data retention period
Booking and client data is kept for the period necessary to provide the service, handle related requests and comply with legal obligations. Marketing preference data is kept while consent is active and, where appropriate, after withdrawal to the extent necessary to demonstrate that further marketing communication must not be sent.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, to object to processing and, where provided by the GDPR, data portability.
